All the freshest and finest ingredients from British and regional suppliers are used wherever possible. There are seasonal favourites such as steamed mussels in cider, new season lamb, local game and for pudding lovers, sticky toffee pudding, chocolate fondant and much more.
Of the many varieties supplied at least six (including home made vegetarian) usually appear on the menu at one time. They are served with either mash or champ (mash with chopped spring onions) and onion gravy or the classic toad in the hole. Over 100,000 sausages are consumed every year at the Clifton Sausage.
